On this day in 2004, Valencia CF were crowned La Liga champions

Relive the goals by Vicente and Baraja that led to that historic victory at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjúan
On May 9, 2004, Valencia CF won the league title at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjúan after defeating Sevilla FC 0-2 (Vicente and Baraja scored) on matchday 36 of LaLiga. It was a season to remember for the Valencianistas, as the famous treble (League, UEFA and the European Super Cup) was achieved.

LEGENDS GAME
20,000 Valencianistas gathered last April at Mestalla to enjoy the Treble Match and see once again the legends that made Valencia CF champions of the 2003-04 League, 2003-04 UEFA and 2004 European Super Cup, as well as the recognition by the International Federation of Football Statistics and History (IFFHS) as 'Best Club in the World'.
